Carrots are very good for health and Kids will enjoy eating this food. Here goes the yummy carrot rice recipe....
Ingredients:
1. Grated Carrot - 11/2 cup
2. Onions - 1 small
3. Green chillies
4. Garam Masala - 1 tsp
5. Jerra pd - 1/4 tsp
6. oil
7. Mustard
8. Jerra
9. urad dal
10.Channa dal
11. peanut pd - 1/2 cup
12. Rice -1 cup
13. Garlic ginger paste - 1 tsp
Preparation:
1. In a bowl add rice and 2 cups of water and cook in cooker for 3 whistles
2. Keep a pan on stove and add oil, once oil gets heated add channa dal, urad dal, mustard, jerra, curry leaves.
3. Once they start to splitter add green chillies and chopped onions and saute till they turn tender.
4. Now add grated carrots and saute for few minutes till they become soft.
5. Now add turmeric pd, garam masala, jerra pd and saute for 1min
6. Add peanut pd and saute for 1 min
7. Add pre cooked rice and salt and mix well
8. Garnish with cilantro and serve......
